Basic tune-up for an eBike. Inspected items include power delivery, gear alignment and brakes. We basically go over the bike and make sure it's functioning properly. For the most part, this includes...
Basic wipe down cleaning of the bike so that we can properly inspect things.
Inspecting the tires and wheels. We look for cracks or punctures in the tire. We will check the spokes for uniform tightness.
Checking the torque on essential screws. We go through the bike and make sure the screws are correctly tight, paying special attention to the safety related screws vs something like a bottle holder (as an example).
Adjustment of the derailleur(s). This is where we make sure the bike is shifting properly and smoothly.
Chain / cassette cleaning and lube. We do a basic cleaning of the chain and rear cassette and then re-apply lube.
Additional issues may become known because of the findings of the inspection. We will reach out to you for approval with anything that has an added cost.
